Who are we?
MBackdrops website available at https://mbackdrops.art is run by Studio Kreatywne Magdalena Rączka which is a one-person company registered in Poland. Below you will find out how we gather and process data related to you.
If you comment something on the website you will be able to save your name, email address and your website address in cookies, so that next time you want to comment that information will be prefilled for you. Those cookies expire after a year.
If you visit a login page, the server will create a temporary cookie to see if you browser supports them. This cookie does not contain any personal data and will be removed when browser is closed.
During log-in server creates few cookies required to store your login information and screen preferences. Login cookies expire after two days, the screen option cookies after a year. If you select “remember me” option the login information expires after two weeks. If you log out the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article in this blog, your browser will store additional cookie. This cookie does not contain any personal data, it only store identifier of the modified article. This cookie expire after one day.

During browsing our eCommerce shop we will be gathering the following information:
- Viewed products: we will use it to e.g. show you recently seen products
- Location, IP address and browser details: we will use it to calculate taxes and shipping costs
- Shipping address: we will ask you for it to confirm the shipping costs and to be able to deliver your order!
When you buy from our store, we will ask you for information including your name, payment and shipping addresses, email, telephone, payment or card details and optional account details: username and password. We will use this information for the following purposes:
- Sending information about your account and orders
- Responding to your requests, including returns and complaints
- Payment processing and fraud prevention
- Creating an account in our store
- Comply with legal obligations such as calculating taxes
- Improving the store’s offer
- Send you marketing information if you consent to receive it
If you create an account, we will keep your name, address, e-mail and telephone number for future orders.
In general, information is kept for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are under no legal obligation to continue to store it. For example, we store order information for 5 years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes first and last name, e-mail address and addresses.
We will also store comments and feedback if you choose to write them.
We accept payments via PayPal and Stripe. During payment processing, some of your data will be transferred to PayPal or Przelewy24 as appropriate, including information required to process or handle the payment, such as order value and billing information.
Comments and reviews
When a website visitor leaves a comment or opinion about a product, we collect the data visible in the commenting form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser signature to assist in spam detection.

Each website visitor has the option of using the contact form or e-mail address to send a message to the website administrators. Sending a message via our form or directly via e-mail involves providing us with information about the sender’s e-mail address and other data contained in the message, such as name, surname, indirectly information about the employer.
If you are a registered user and upload images to your site (e.g. by leaving a review or adding a comment), you should avoid uploading images with EXIF location tags. Visitors to the website can download and read full location data from pictures on the website.
Embedded 3rd party content
Articles on this site may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, pictures, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in a similar way as if the user has visited a specific website directly.
Who can access this internally?
Our team members have access to the information you provide us. For example, administrators and store service have access to:
- Order details such as items purchased, order date, shipping address
- Customer information such as name, email address, and billing and shipping information.
Our team has access to this information to process orders, returns and offer support.
How we share this information?
We share some of the gathered information with 3rd party partners who help us process the orders and provide your with best possible serivces:
- MailerLite – marketing emails
- Stripe – payment processing
- PayPal – payment processing

How long we store your data?
If you leave a comment, its content and metadata are retained indefinitely. Thanks to this, we are able to recognize and approve subsequent comments automatically, without sending them to each moderation.
For users who have registered on our website, we also store personal information entered in the profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except their username, which cannot be changed). Website administrators can also view and modify this information.
What are your rights?
If you have a user account or have added comments on this site, you can request delivery of a file with an exported set of your personal data in our possession, including all those provided by you. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data that we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.
